I just upgraded to Openoffice 2.0.1 on Gentoo Linux and the issue is still present! The rows and columns are still reversed (it should be 8 rows by 3 columns like a DINA4 in protrait) Maybe other Brands work fine but Herma seems to be mixed. At least some of the labels templates have rows and columns mixed up. Or even the code imports it incorrect? At least if you do a File->New-Labels and select Brand: "Herma A4" and Type: "4227" If you then click on "New Document" you will get one with 8 cols and 3 rows instead of 3 cols ans 8 rows!
