Page count shows as 1 page. Placing the cursor into the first row and deleting each row at a time and completing the deletion of 40 rows will increase the page count to 2. It will also show some of the contents of the document (subsequent times I have tried it it did not show the contents). Either highlight, ie ctrl-A, all the contents shown or place the cursor in the very first row and highlight (ctrl-A). Now cut the highlight, ctrl-X. This will shows a bunch or rows again. Now, delete each row at a time. After approximately 32 rows have been deleted you can paste the contents into the document. You will now have the complete document and a total of 10 pages. You can also open the document in WordPad and will show the full document contents. I will attach the document to this bug issue. Otherwise email and I will email directly to you. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 26305] Commenting grayed out for track changes

This is very useful feature when proof-reading a document to be able to provide feedback to the originator on a section that has not been deleted. Plus this is how a well known product operates. Also for the comments to be more visible. Currently they are only seen if you hover over them. That includes to be visible during editing the document without overing, visible when document is printed or outputted to a PDF file. I'm getting grief from my partner to return to the other product. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sw-issues] [Issue 9661] Use margins to track change s
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=9661 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Aug 4 12:44:15 + 2007 --- Firstly, well done with OOo I think it is great tool. I, for one, appreciate all that has been achieved. I have moved away from MS Word and standardised using OOo on all of our home systems. However, I'm getting major grief from my partner. She is a writer/editor and this is a major feature that she uses at work in Word. I think I will be forced to reinstate MS Word or maybe first look at one of the Open Source products. Summary: 1) changes to appear in a balloon/side what has been inserted/deleted/changed 2) Comments added to changes/insertions/deletions to appear on the side 3) Comments to be possible to be added to non-changed sections. Important to highlight to some about a query on the word/sentence/paragraph 4) Comments and changes to visible in printed documents. Controllable. 5) Comments and changes to be visible if exported to PDF or other. 6) Different colours for different authors (low priority for me) I notice this feature request has been around since 1.0.1 from 2002. This feature request still applies to version 2.2.1. Please up the priority and this key functionality. Regards - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Editing in OOo and when double click spreadsheet it starts MS Excel. As I have in Windows XP all extensions still assigned to MS products.
