For example, OO completes the to theoretical if theoretical is present in the document. I shouldn't have to delete this completion manually every time I open a new document. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It strikes me as a major usability issue to force users to delete the autocompletions for theoretical, theological, etc. every time they open a new document, when it wouldn't be difficult to eliminate the problem altogether (for those users who want it). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Have you ever tried to edit a large document with this feature enabled? I have, and it degrades my experience of using OpenOffice. Allowing the user to choose words they *don't* want to complete would make the word completion feature much more useful, and from a UI design point of view, would make the design more sensible (since you can add words you *do* want completed, you should also be able to specify words you *don't* want completed). I changed this to a Feature request, since that seems more apropos. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
