Both fonts are installed globally, i.e. for all users, in /Library/Fonts.
Switching on on and off fonts has desired effect in e.g. MS Word 2004 V 11.6.1

I upgraded to 10.6.6 only after I noticed the error. So both 10.6.5 and 10.6.6
are affected with 3.3, I'll check again with OOo 3.2 under OS X 10.6.6, but I
have do get it first.

Same after update to Mac OS X 10.6.6. The affected fonts behave normally in
other applications, including Apple Font Book.

Since I updated to OOo3.3, my Type1 fonts neither appear in the menu nor are
displayed on screen or printed. The standard replacement font is used instead.
This used to be no problem im OOo3.2.x.

The issue seems to have to do something with the font chemical.ttf (available
here http://www.iac.uni-stuttgart.de/Praktika/Quali/Chemical.ttf ). This font is
marked as broken or incomplete since Mac OS X 10.6. Any document containing
parts formatted with chemical.ttf is displayed or printed badly, see attachment.
This occurs even if the font is not installed on the system.

To reproduce error:

1) Open document test.odt
2) Select all, change font to Utopia
3) The omitted text should appear

Hope this helps...

1) open a new writer document
2) type some text
3) set font to Bitstream Vera sans
4) change style to either bold or italics - the text disappears.

This behaviour occured only after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.6 snow leopard,
since then in any version including 3.2rc4 I use right now, on Mac OS X 10.6.2.
I read somewhere that font handling changed a lot in snow leopard. There is
another font I used before the system now does not even accept. According to
Apple Font Book the Bitstream fonts are o.k, however.

It is the insert - picture - from file command, I use the german version
and translated back. Thanks
for the hint about changing the image attributes, I was desperately looking for
such a command inside the
picture format window and then finally found it in edit - links...

I can confirm this on DEV300m11. The IgnoreAllList dictionary is write
protected, I can not add words
manually through cmd-, - languages - linguistics. This is possible in 2.4.
Maybe this is the cause?

I can not include an image in a odt document (others not checked), so that it
is saved with the file. It is
included always as a linked image, regardless of the respecting box being
checked or not. If the original
image is missing, the image box displays the path to the image only. Affects
DEV300m10, too. If I
remember correctly, the bug was not present in DEV300m9
BTW DEV300m11 is great and fun to work with!

1) doubleclick a cell with content - enters editing mode
2) select a part (or all, but this does not make sense) of the content in the
cell
3) hit command-c to copy the selected content - overwrites the selection with
c instead

same for paste, cut and probably any shortcut using the command key
If I remeber right, I used some defaults write command to pass on the command
key as control in X11.

using control-key instead of command works fine.

I often link to external documents using the document name as link name.
In order to do this, I select the document and copy the document name. Then I
paste the name in the link name field.
In earlier versions this worked, now it overwrites just a c or p
respectively.

The error occurs when copying from any field in the file select / save / open
dialog boxes.

I use mahos build from Jan. 25th. Not sure if the version above is correct, it
is OOF680m2.
