It definitely should -not- be closed. I turned off the Mac Spell Checker as suggested, and it still crashes. (Even had simply turning off this setting solved the problem, that's not exactly a fix -- it's simply masking the problem.) I'll be happy to provide any logs needed. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. How can I tell if I have the VLC plug-in installed? I tried inserting a couple of movies from my Mac. Only a few file types were available to select, and the actual insert resulted in a giant questions mark (?) instead of an actual movie. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. It appears that any mouse click inside this dialog (either single click or double) will result in the aforementioned bug, but keystrokes do not. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. In OO Text and Calc (and presumably all of the rest) selecting Insert Special Character... and then clicking any character and then selecting OK will cause my machine to crash every single time. Completely repeatable. This was true in OO 3.1.1 and is still true in OO 3.2.0. I can work around this problem by using the Mac's built-in Character Viewer to paste the needed character into place, but attempting to use the OO Insert Special Character function will crash the application every time. I've submitted all the crash reports to Apple via the Mac's built-in crash reporter. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
