Open the .odt in OpenOffice 2.1, equations display correctly and are editable. "Save as" "Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP" .doc. Open the .doc in Microsoft Word 2003: Most equations are missing, some of the ones which are displayed are displayed incorrectly (this can be fixed by loading them into Equation Editor).
