Now this .odb work on all my environments. Thanks a lot for the tip ! For information, I am attaching the new doc, that is still under construction, although a bit closer to completion. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. But, to answer your questions : - I only have 1 OOo per O/S (Win XP Pro, XP Family, Ubuntu Karmic) - And it is only with OOo 3.2 and Karmic that nothing is ever displayed in the listboxes. - I have already renamed the doc, replacing the .1 by _1, but I shall not be able to test it in OOo 3.2 + Karmic before a few days. - And just for you, Loki fan, this author of the RPG for which this doc is being developed (Mazes Minotaurs), is working on another game, called Vikings Valkyries... ;) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I can reproduce the problem, before confirming however a quick question. @pbrient, Do you have multiple copies of OO.o installed? If so, could you check to ensure that the different copies of OO.o do not use a common OO.o USER directory. Now for the problem, it's the file name: Seems the .1.odb is not being accepted. To verify this try renaming your file, removing this and then register the new filename - after that everything works as expected here. Let us know if that does it and I'll change the summary to reflect the naming problem and confirm the issue. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. (so it seems this is may be a Linux or go-oo issue, I'll follow up on that) 2 - There is a problem with the list box controls on the form, but only when inserting a new record. (I changed the read_only setting on the table grid control and used the form to enter a second record for Loki - getting in touch w/ my roots I suppose) Changing values for existing records works without an error - if you just clear the custom error boxes when entering a new record the data is written correctly to the tables. Ok - the reason for the error when changing a drop down for a new record is found in your basic procedures - simply put the procedures called from your event handler are not checking for NULL values, there error is not from the control your working with but from the code that looks for values in the other controls not yet set to a value. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
