2010 ---
- open the attached database document
- open the contained table by double-clicking it
- close the table and the database document, do not close OOo
- open the DB doc again
- open the table, again
- change the table layout, e.g. change a column's width
- close the table
- close the DB doc, answering Discard when asked whether to save the changes
- open the DB doc
= the doc is marked as modified (i.e. the Save button is enabled)
- open the table
= the layout changes which you just discarded are still there

Effectively, this means that the DB doc has not been closed the second time, but
only the view has been closed, while the DB doc was kept in memory.
