Ehm, what you describe is a new feature :) (where the current error message
behaviour could be considered a bug, I suppose)
In the path input field, you really can specify the path only, the extension
needs to be specified separately - see 6. and 7. above.

OK - test this w/680M4, XP

Not sure how this was fixed. I still can not enter a wild card character - or
more precisely I can enter it but it is inappropriately used.

For example:

I enter the following path information
c:\tmp\*.txt

Click next.
This dialog opens:
The directory

does not exit. Should it be created?

If you answer no the wizard stays on the same page.
If you answer yes - Error dialog
The Direct  could not be created?

OK - try a slightly different string
c:\tmp\*

Same results as above.

So what was the fix here?
