UNzip it with any zip tool. May be you need to rename the extension from odb to zip. 2. if you have unpack the file you find a directory database. 3. inside the directory there is a file called script. 4. open the file in any text editor 5. there should be a line start with CREATE VIEW VIEWNAME ( fields ) . 6. find the field with the space and put around the field name. 7. save the file. 8. update the database zip file with the changed script file. == now the database file should work again. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=56323 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 25 10:26:38 -0700 2005 --- I have found some more detail. The problem occurs when the field name has a space in it. eg. 'Long Description'. Only the first part of the field name gets read i.e. 'Long' and this creates a problem with making a View. I have tried it again with a field name '% done'. Again only the '%' was picked up. The error message was SQL Status: S1000 Error code: -78 error in script file line: 13 Unexpected token: % in statement [CREATE VIEW ViewTasks (IssueName,TaskName,TaskDescription,%] You can see that the script fell over at the space between % and done. (If anybody has a file recovery workaround I would be grateful) Bob - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
