The database works just fine when I accessed the tables and I can edit things freely, though kwin will ask to terminate/keep running when closing a table. choosing the latter keeps it running fine. I have Java 1.5_02 installed. Something being wrong Java is the only thing I can think of as to the cause. My laptop's debian 2.0.4 version of openoffice is currently on ice awaiting a new battery, but this problem does NOT occur on that.
