the Express Edition is freely available from IBM.

When connecting to a DB/2 database via ODBC the system catalogs are displayed in
the table list as well.
If you doubleclick a system table (for instance SYSCAT.TABLES) the errormessage

"[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUX] SQL0151N The column "LOGINDEXBUILD" cannot be
updated. SQLSTATE=42808"

appears.  Odd, since there is no need at all to do an update on system table 
open.
