I am using java version 1.6.0_05 (which came with OO.o beta 3) with XP SP2. I also find it interesting that no matter what condition I put it the query, I don't get any results. I will test on another machine. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=89342 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 13 17:40:27 + 2008 --- Well, I reinstalled OOo_3.0.0beta_20080429_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US on an new computer with a fresh install of Windows XP SP2 and the same error exists. Things that made the error no appear * Associating the button with another macro, so I know it isn't a problem with the button per say * Removing all associations of the button with any macro, but that doesn't solve any problems--just tells us the button itself it not at fault. These are things I tried to do to prevent the error to no avail: * Renaming the subroutine from OpenReportDeprecatedComputersInSelectDate to a smaller name * Removing and recreating the query, button, and macro association in the OOo beta 3 version * Removing the offending macro and all macros from the document and the error still happens I think the last point is very interesting as it shows the error occurs even before OOo senses the macro does not exist. Here are the detailed steps to recreate the problem: * Install OO.o beta 3 * I selected all defaults during install except I told it to assocociate the file extensions with MS Office * Start OO.o * Changed OO.o to run macros (Tools | Options | Security | Macro Security) * Downloaded the above Computers.odb to the local computer's hard drive * Opened the Computers.odb file (File | Open | Naviagate to file | Open) * Go to the Forms view * Double left-click the Switchboard form * Single left-click the Deprecated Computers In Select Date button * This is where the error happens - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Program c:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org3\program\soffice.bin This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. and then OO.o crashes (goes away from the screen). When we run the query by itself, OO.o does not give any errors nor crashes, but does not give any results either. We expect to see some results. When we run the report by itself, OO.o does nothing at all (nothing comes up on the screen), no errors, and does not crash. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=89342 User atjensen changed the following: What|Old value |New value CC|''|'atjensen' --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 13 04:54:10 + 2008 --- I have been unable to replicate the problem Tested with: XP (sp2), SUN JRE 1.60_05, OO.o 300_m2 ( I used SRB 1.0.2 and a pre-release build of 1.0.3) In order to execute the macro I needed to open the form, 'switchboard', in edit mode first - then switch to run mode. Executing the macro from the button on the form using SRB 1.0.2 runs as expected. Using SRB 1.0.3 there is an error in that the parameter is not prompted for, but no system crash. I also went ahead and made a change to the query for the report, as it was returing 0 records, to test it with actual data. ( the 2 computer records with date values ) - this ran as expected also. If there is something more you can pass on to recreate the problem I'll try again, otherwise I will close this as works-for-me. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
