------- Additional comments from zoomi...@openoffice.org Fri Mar 27 11:03:00 +0000 2009 ------- On Windows, when the "Save as" file dialogue is opened, it is possible to rename the existing files by clicking and using F2 (or right-click, rename). Let's assume that there is a file called A.odt. I want to rename it to B.odt and save my current file as A.odt. OpenOffice shows the name A.odt in the line "Filename" but when I click "Save", it attempts to use the name B.odt. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a file and save it as A.odt (or whatever suffix). 2. "Save as" to open the dialogue again. 3. Click on A.odt and rename it to B.odt. The name in the "Filename" text field is still A.odt. 4. Save. OpenOffice should save as A.odt, as indicated by the Filename field. Instead, it asks if i want to overwrite B.odt. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
