Yes, this is a vcl issue. The problem is that in one case (left button) the
dialog gets executed in a thread different from the main thread. Execute is not
much but waiting for events in a loop. In the gtk plugin as well as on MacOSX
however the waiting part falls on its face because events (as in mouse move
and such) never happen in a thread different from the main thread, resulting in
an immediate return.

That means execute in this case is a busy loop. Not good.

When the dialog is assigned to button before commencing there is about 100%
CPU load on GNOME (linux). Could this be connected with the issue 97353 ? This
