------- Additional comments from hj...@openoffice.org Sun Jul 5 14:49:11 +0000 2009 ------- In ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file, I have the following setting to place the scrollbar on the left side of the window, not the right side: gtk-scrolled-window-placement = top-right All GTK application honor this setting, except gimp, dia and openoffice. Even firefox allows to change the scrollbar location by a hidden preference in about:config.
