The value 3 means the most current ODF version. Right now, this is ODF 1.2 Extended. In future versions, this may change to ODF 1.3 or ODF 2.0, etc. The new value 4 means ODF 1.2. So, if the purpose of the extension is to always select the latest ODF version, then everything is fine, even though this latest version has different names. We have an extension for the preconfiguration of OOo, which sets ODF 1.2 in older versions than OOO320. This is the according code of Common.xcu: node oor:name=Save node oor:name=ODF prop oor:name=DefaultVersion oor:type=xs:short value3/value /prop /node /node If our extension is installed in OOO320m2, the value 3 sets the default ODF-version to ODF 1.2 extended. To get the setting ODF 1.2 the value must be set to 4.
