Background: Both the Firefox and Opera web browser applications provide a utility by which an individual can create an account and maintain synchronicity between work stations. That is to say, when a change is made to the "bookmarks" file, the next time that user logs in on a different machine, the local bookmarks file on that machine is updated, too. Tool bar customizations, save options, colors, and so forth could be synchronized for a particular user across various machines.
