SBA: THIS issue here is about the Auto-Capitalisatin behind an abbreviation.
There is an easy way to add abbreviations so that they appear in the list.
As soon as they are in the list, no capitalisatun will take place anymore.
So this issue can be closed.

Issue 58643 is about what's in the abbreviation list by default. THAT
enhancement request may well survive.

Hi!

Apparently I submitted a similar Issue 58643. The abbreviations that should be
included are "i.e." and "e.g.". Now be careful, they are not "ie." and "eg."

although nothing is listed under Tools->AutoCorrect->Exceptions -- it's just a
dialogue to add exceptions -- ie. "eg." works: no Capital correction after the
dot.

how do I close this issue?

WORKSFORME now if the abbreviation is listed as abbreviation in Tools ->
AutoCorrect -> Exceptions.

lars, please close issue if you agree.
