well, extension was usually shown in the titlebar, and it only disappeared now 
and then. that was some time ago, and i was told that every case when it is 
not, should be reported.

i'm closing this one as a dupe of issue 47802, because it is noted there that 
some spec has changed in the meantime.
unfortunately, i have no idea which spec is that and what was the motivation 
behind this change - i really believe it is a bad decision and it negatively 
impacts usability.

have to reopen, now it is even easier to make extension disappear :

create a new writer document, insert single character. save the document, close 
it.
open the document again - extension is not shown.

notes : oo.org is started without a component open, with 'soffice', then new 
document is chosen.
similarly, when closing, only document is closed, not whole oo.org.
