Issue appears to be due to corrupt file; the plugin included with OOo-2.0rc3
works without problems. How do I close this?

UL=JD:

I tried to the plugin on different systems and had no problems, so if your
problem is a
truncated file, wouldn't it be a good idea to try another download? And if it
works then,
to close this issue?

While running ldconfig after compiling an unrelated program, the following error
message was generated:

  /sbin/ldconfig: file /opt/OpenOffice/program/libnpsoplugin.so is truncated

The size of libnpsoplugin.so as extracted is identical to that in the
openoffice.org-core02-2.0.0-2 rpm file:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ls -l /opt/OpenOffice/program/libnpsoplugin.so
-r-xr-xr-x  1 root root 20480 Oct  5 06:26 /opt/OpenOffice/program/libnpsoplugin

Extracting libnpsoplugin.so from the OOo-2.0rc1 rpm and using that instead of
the rc2 version does not cause FireFox to crash; indeed the rc1 plugin appears
to work quite well, even with rc2, thank you.

Is it possible that the libnpsoplugin.so is corrupted in the rc2 archive? FWIW,
I used the bittorrent download to obtain it.
