That is assuming it did indeed get turned off. If you want to fiddle endlessly with the specification, help docs, i18n, etc. to get it enabled in 2.2 then please do so, I for one have little interest in that pain. Of course, if you use ~any Linux distro vendor's build it will be enabled. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 70644 *** - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. "openoffice.org-2.1 -help" says -quickstart "only available on windows platform" 3. "openoffice.org-2.1 -quickstart" does not start the quickstart service I vaguely remember seeing the quickstarter working on my system in a 2.1 release candidate, so I wonder what happened. :) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. After install of the RPMS unpacked from OOo_2.1.0_LinuxIntel_install_en-US.tar.gz on Fedora Core 5 there is no quickstarter to be found, and the appropriate checkbox (Tools -> Options -> Memory) seems to be disabled. What program implements the GTK quickstarter, and how can I enable it? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
