Repro steps: 1. Install XP, OO2.04 as admin. 2. as admin run Writer, set Autorecovery time to 5 mins. Autorecovery is set to ON by default. 3. as limited account, run Writer, set Autorecovery time to 5 mins. Autorecovery is set to ON by default. 4. Reboot. 5. as admin installed OO2.1, run Writer - Autorecovery remains ON, time - 5 minutes. 6. as limited account, run Writer - Autorecovery remains ON, time - 5 minutes. m_schnei, any chance you could try reproducing the problem yourself on plain vanilla XP install? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Can you describe how you did your upgrade? Was only the setting switched off or was also the time changed back to the default of 15 minutes? Thorsten, please try to confirm. In case this is reproducible I would consider this to be a severe problem. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To my best knowledge, the time was still my custom 5 minutes, so no fall back to the default. It just was greyed out (unchecked). Upgrade method: In all three cases I downloaded the XP installer of the new version 2.1 and doubleclicked. :) So, in fact, I did what I do in case of a fresh installation, but the installer took over my old installation - even an SVG extension, which I had installed under 2.0. The user configuration was reused, too, with this single exception of a checked autosave option. Hm, don't know if this is of interest: I installed from within a user account with admin rights, but the problem then occured for my /different/ user account with restricted rights. But, as I said, everything else of my user specific configuration was correctly transfered. BTW: I just saw elsewhere that there are some security problems with current 2.1. So if you soon release a new patch level version of OOo, I will see if this problem will come up again when upgrading the 2.1 branch. :) Bye, Michael - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
