In 3.1 release (installed on Windows Vista), I created this test database with
spaces in file name: 'Test New Database'

Running 'Open an Existing Database File' displays this after:

Test%20New%20Database

Hi, This is still an issue. I am using 3.0 RC2 and I have the same problem with
calc files that have spaces. It does not affect writer files.

I can confirm that remove/install with the WRITE_REGISTRY=1 setting resolves the
issue fully.

TM-patrick_d_champion: please check wich version you're using (open
help/about-box and press Strg + s, d, t). System-integration has been removed in
the 3.0 Beta. So no documenttype can be opened by doubleclick in Explorer !

I have this problem as well. If there are no spaces on the filename then
double-click opens it.

I have ( just ) set the WRITE_REGISTRY option and repaired my Beta install and
this has not changed the outcome.

I will try uninstall re-install to see if that resolves.
