Only solution is to force quit OOo3beta. It looks similar to situations when X11 loses keyboard focus. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=90070 Issue #|90070 Summary|Command+Backspace freezes OpenOffice Component|framework Version|OOo 3.0 Beta Platform|Macintosh URL| OS/Version|All Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|ui Assigned to|tm Reported by|fwenzel --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 28 11:36:52 + 2008 --- I see the following issue on OOo 3 beta/Aqua as well as on the current OOo-dev preview snapshot (on Mac OSX Leopard on x86): When I enter something in OOo spreadsheet or writer, then press Command/Apple + Backspace, it freezes the application almost completely. The application does not react to further input anymore. The buttons stay seemingly clickable yet do not do anything. Moving around the document with the mouse or the keyboard does not work anymore, neither does saving or closing the app, except for force-quitting it. When force-quitting the application, the document recovery wizard shows up and when clicking OK, it freezes too. If I press Command+Q instead, the wizard closes fine. After restarting OOo, it behaves as expected again, but pressing CMD+Backspace will freeze it reproducibly. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
