It was refactored out from the wizard and will be shown outside as pure dialog. That happened all the time OOo got a new automatic feature on startup. It was shown ... users wrote a bug and a new command line parameter like -noDontDoIt was created. Under normal circumstances I have to create a new -noregistration parameter here ... but I agree that its an urgent bug fix and those registration has something similar with the wizard. So I reuse the same parameter here. Regarding the -headless part ... -headless is implemented by our VCL project in a generic way. It cancels all dialogs and hide all windows automaticaly so the normal office code must not handle that. But these dialog does not provide any cancel option ... so VCL uses the one and only button ... which means OK .-) Further the default option selected inside the dialog is please register .. and so the browser will be started. This is a VERY serious regression. Server side Open Office instances should not be forced to register. Our product has been deployed to a number of customers, including some large parama. As a result several hundred people are 'using' Open Office in a headless manner. I know other products that also use OO in a similar manner. That should matter to Sun I would have though? Incidentally my test using 3.0 RC1 resulted in the registration attempts ending up with 'Problem loading page'. This doesn't seem to work any more with OOo 2.4.1 on Linux - tested on Ubuntu 8.04. It still works on Windows XP.
