Why would the PATH trick not work? And why doesn't OOo look for it's own DLL before windows'? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=91661 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 10 21:29:00 + 2008 --- The libxml2 mine picks up: c:\windows\system32\LIBXML2.DLL Has the following xmlXPATH entries: xmlXPathInit xmlXPathIsInf xmlXPathIsNaN xmlXPathNAN xmlXPathNINF xmlXPathPINF *not* the desired xmlXPathFreeObject :-( The libxml2.dll in c:\program files\openoffice.org\ure\bin\LIBXML2.DLL however, has the required entry point! So it's pretty clear what's going on... Moving the windows one out of the way temporarily (setting the open office path first in %PATH% didn't seem to work, it's been a long time since I messed with windows stuff) makes it all work nicely. Any way to make this workaround more permanent without having to rename the windows/system32/libxml2.dll ? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
