I´ve just uninstall my version of OO beta 3.0 and from the site http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/download-form.php downloaded and installed OO.org-3.0.0.rc4 (after the installation, in the Help/about in OO the version OOO300m9 is shown). And in this version the reopening of a calc file which is in the same time used by another user on the LAN fails - this means i did not get the messege, the file is in use! I checked it right now 2 times and it does not work...I get the messege (and possibility to open it as red only file) only the first time i open this document. After closing and reopening it, there is no message. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. LAN - hardisk) and one user open it, if the second user open it also (while the first one has it still open), OO make a notice showing, the document could be open only in read only mode. BUT if the second one close the read only document and reopen it, the notification does not longer work although the first user has the document still open. This means after closing the document in read only mode, next time (everytime) you open this document, you don´t get the notification from OO. OO opens it as it would not be in the same time used by another user. So both work on document in write mode and one of them will LOST THE DATA! - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. So after the lockfile has gone, no warning appeared and the file could be edited and written. This has already been fixed in a RC4. So please use the latest build. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
