[framework-issues] [Issue 95700] default language for docum ents cannot be set to none

Probably gmail's antispam biting me again... Thank you for the workaround, it seems to work. It seems to me like, eh, a workaround, not a proper fix, but if you really think it's ok... What I mean is that from time to time someone will try to do the same thing and get upset by openoffice forgetting the settings, even if you don't check 'this document only'. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I understand your point, but then I don't see why you have a "None" option as default language. As for why I want to use it this way, I write routinely text documents in four languages, and these are very often very short documents, for which I do not need spelling check or the autocorrect tools. I use the definition of language as "I want spelling check in this part of the document" or "in this document". As a workaround, I have been using an alien (to me) language as default language, but "None" would be really better (autocorrect in africaner when writing portuguese gives me some really weird results). I do not quite understand this bug system, and as I have not seem the change in the status of the bug, I am reopening it (was it closed?). - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. If it isn't set the this UI language is set as default. So in a Western office with English US interface this unset default language is set to English US. In a Chinese office an unset CJK language is set to Chinese. The Western language is not changed in that case. In desktop/source/app/langselect.cxx is the related code. ->tiagosab: What is the reason for setting the default language to NONE? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
