Microsoft Powerpoint handles a copy paste from OpenOffice Writer in this way. 2) A copy and paste from Microsoft Powerpoint should be pasted as a text box, but instead it is pasted as an image, and is not editable at all. When you just select the OLE (green handles) resizing it results in stretching in squishing. When you want to resize the window for the displayed content please double click the OLE (rulers, frame and black hanldes appear). Then you can the resize the window in which the text is displayed.
