AW-regina: No, the export is okay; there is no way to expand wmf (not our
format), so we should just stay at the method we used for a long time. It needs
to be supported anyways (as can be seen)...

AW: Problem is that the MetaFile contains e.g. XOR RasterOps; the old methods to
paint a gradient used RasterOp stuff to XOR out instead of masking; it did NOT
just paint 64 colored cirled polygons above each other (which would work). This
does not work together with AAing at all.
To further support that, AAing has to be suppressed when XOR is switched on.
Trying to add that...

AW: Added a 'ROP_OVERPAINT == GetRasterOp()' to all (mnAntialiasing
ANTIALIASING_ENABLE_B2DDRAW)
pGraphics-supportsOperation(OutDevSupport_B2DDraw) checks in VCL; works well.

AW-HDU: Suggestions?

Yes, calling SetRasterOp() with ROP_XOR or ROP_INVERT should implicitly disable
antialiasing on that
OutputDevice(). I'd do it directly in SetRasterOp() though.

AW-HDU: And how do You know then, if it shall be switched on again when
ROP_OVERPAINT is set again?
No, it's has to be more like a stack; since there are no sure entry/leave points
for that stack, the only way i see is to add ROP_OVERPAINT == GetRasterOp() to
the tests as is did.

I have produced the meta file by export from OOo. Perhaps the export to wmf
should be enhanced? New issue? (The fix here is needed anyway because of older
documents.)

AW: Checking, adding to CWS aw073. Maybe these are no hairlines, but traces of

I don't think that it is a duplicate. This issue is about viewing inside of OOo.
With anti-aliasing on, the transparent area outside the circle is lost and set
to color and the gradient gets hairlines between the color steps, which causes
the moire.

The export to pdf is bad too, but that is independent of the anti-aliasing
setting.

It would be nice, if someone could test, whether the error depends on the
graphic card.

The attached zip-file contains a document with a linked Windows metafile picture
and the original Draw object.
If I open the document and anti-aliasing is on, I get a wrong display as shown
in the attached screenshot.

I get the error in DEV300m43 and it is still there in DEV300m48. I've got a
'NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200' and WinXP Sp3.
