AW: I have now added a tryToCheckLastVisualisationDirectHit HitTest to
ScenePrimitive2D. It returns if it could answer the question at all (maybe not
when the data is not available). If yes, the HitTest is now in normal practice
much faster for 3D CustomShapes. Currently only for 3D CustomShapes since all
other 3D shapes do not directly have the 3D scene as part of a sequence of
primitives for a single SdrObject visualisation, e.g. the standard DrawigLayer
HitTest travels over the single 3D objects contained in a 3D scene since it
wants to know WHICH shape is hit. The shortcut is only valid for HitTests where
ANY contained 3D obect hit is valid.

AW: Have now optimized the Move interaction. This needs to be done with care and
was not done from the beginning since the office allows zooming in/out during
DragMove. This may even get more focus when interactions change, e.g. dragging
an object from one page to another and zooming in/out during this operation for
more intuitive interactions.
That optimization brings the needed speed; also needed to enhance the primitive
decomposition buffering at ScenePrimitive2D: after dragging not only the main
view but also the SlidePane gets updated, and in this step the scene gets
rendered again which throws away the last, buffered decomposition containing the
bigger scene rendering. I have now added to not re-render when the resolution
gets smaller or stays equal. Also went from discrete rounded values to
non-rounded ones since the rounded ones varied in X and Y resolution by a single
pixel.
Together with the ReducedDisplayQuality option this works pretty well now.

I am also thinking about speeding up the HitTest even more by using Hits against
the last decomposition, speak: BitmapEx with 3D scenes. Taking a look...

AW; I have extensively experimented with 3D rendering and time measurement and
making the display quality reduction during interactions dependent of this, but
no try worked really well. Source of this is that the time measurement is not
very precise and that values are needed when the interaction starts immediately.
I have now made it dependent just from target pixel zize and this works well.
Goal is that when intaracting with small 3D-Objects not instantly the quality
gets reduced, but dependent from object size.

and complex shapes...

ScenePrimitive2D::create2DDecomposition. I experimented with size reduction, no
oversampling and no shadow. The best looking mix is to keep oversampling (only
with AA anyways), but to reduce by 0.33 (1/3rd) and keep the shdow (does not
make the biggest difference).
Checking in as solution to speed up all (most, 3D has exceptions for direct
modification) 3D interactions...

fallback for bitmap filled objects shadow paint (tiled and untiled). Works as

already done inside of VclProcessor2D::RenderPolyPolygonGradientPrimitive2D.
This is before the mask primitive even gets created, so this also works for 
shadow.

already splitted in a single color filled primitive and the hatch itself. The
hatch itself can not be drawn simpler in shadow mode, so it's already supported.

ViewContactOfSdrObjCustomShape::createViewIndependentPrimitive2DSequence now;
the helper objects are traversed anyways, so simplest is to test with a
dynamic_cast if a 3D shape is included. The bool is then handed over to
SdrCustomShapePrimitive2D which uses it to decide in
SdrCustomShapePrimitive2D::create2DDecomposition if general primitive shadow
will be added or not.

AW: For (3) i tried to go back for 2d and 3d autoshapes to the autoshape
geometry creation and let it set the shadows at the created visualisation
geometry. This is hairly (at least) for 2D objects which consist of more than
one visualisation shape (e.g. the smiley which has sub-shapes for mouth and
eyes). This needed (and ould need again) extra handling for correct shadow shape
creations. This could luckily be removed with primitives and should not be added
again.
Thus it really looks like a different solution for 2d and 3d autoshapes...

@cornouws: No, the double shadow is a lookover from the change to primitives. It
should be in since DEV300m30, the first version with primitives. Very sad that
no one detected it since then :-(

AW: Reopening. Found some other things:
(1) Shadow of 2D objects is part of HitTest. This is not the case in DEV300 m29
(last version without primtives)
(2) HitTest for 3D is pretty slow (one of the reasons it seems all so slow). I
will use the already existing CutFindProcessor, but have to move it from svx to
drawinglayer. Currently, the 2D projection of the scene's content is used. This
works, but needs to project for each HitTest. Also isInside from B3DPolygonTools
should get faster (currently it maps back to 2D polygon and uses 2D version).
(3) For 2D, the shadow attribute has to be set at SdrObjCustomShape, but for 3D
it's better to do it the other way around; when set at SdrObjCustomShape, the
shadow is correct, but painted as a 2nd 3D scene, not as projected 2D polygons
in shadow color.
