The XAccessibleContext::getAccessibleChild method is declared to raise (among others) the IndexOutOfBoundsException. 2. The implementing methods for the Impress edit view (in classes AccessibleDocumentViewBase and AccessibleDrawDocumentView) dropped this exception. 3. When a slide is copied and pasted then, for a reason that is not important here, this very exception is thrown in AccessibleDrawDocumentView. Because the exception is not part of the throw part of the declaration it is treated as unexpected exception and therefore leads to an abortion of the whole process.
