Editing in OO Impress 3.1.1 (build: 9420) is slow as anything. The menus frequently load very slowly, the font color selector is slow (5 sec to load the dialog after clicking). It plays video fine slide show is reasonable, but still not quick. This is a large presentation (23 MB right now), but, it was still slow when I was just building it. Once the dialogs load the first time, they can be reloaded quickly. However, if you want a minute or so, it goes back to extremely slow behavior. It looks like the application data is being swapped out of memory. I saw a bug report relating to shared printing, and, my shared printer is diabled with no improvement.
