When exporting with transparency to pdf with OOO330_m4 Foxit Reader can open the file without a problem and it is looking fine. Opening it with Adobe Reader 9 the first slide throws a message (error on this page). The first shape with this combination is exported correctly, but causes the following elements to appear out of position and inverted. Maybe a transformation matrix is not being restored? I agree, the problem is in OOO330_m2 but not in 3.2.1. In the template linked above, the specific shapes that cause the problem are the lower sides of the text blocks on each slide. I'm attaching a modified document, made from that template, containing a simpler test slide and having a style to control the area fill for the lower side shapes in the actual presentation slides. By modifying the style to use transparency or not, you can see that the PDF export is either broken or ok. I'm also attaching a screenshot showing the problem PDF as rendered by evince. Note: the problem is triggered by shapes that use _both_ transparency and a gradient fill. Neither property alone with cause the problem.
