I can only partly confirm the issue. When I opened the original file in MS Word the characters really looked bad, and in OOo it was fine. However, I saved the file in OpenDocument (.ott), closed, opened again and re-saved as MS Word. The latter opened OK both in MS Word and in OOo. So, the problem may be in the user's preferences concerning MS Office compatibility (In Tools -> Options -> Load/Save -> Microsoft Office, I have all the boxes ticked). However, there's really no ability to edit the charts in MS Word. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
