I can confirm this file crash on importing into 2.0.1RC4 on Ubuntu breezy with
KDE 3.4.3. If attempted to import OOo freezes. No other instances can be fired
from system menu (KDE). The only way to go on is to kill the process.

I have sent a crash report after recovery:
email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
headline: Crash importing Startweek.college_Stage.05.ppt PowerPoint file

I can confirm the crash on Ubuntu breezy using
a) breezy's latest (1.0.129) build
b) my own 1.0.129 build
c) official 1.1.5 build form openoffice.org

So it'S not a problem of ubuntu's ooo build but it seems (as well as bug 53922)
be releated to something in breezy. Is there a way to narrow this down to a
speciffic system library?

Hi hiddenwolf,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org...

I wasn't able to reproduce your problem using 1.9m128 (from ftp.linux.cz) on
Ubuntu Linux Hoary...

OOo loads the presentation and doesn't crash...

Maybe this is a Breezy problem??
Where did you get you OOo from??

Works for me using 1.9m128 on FreeBSD. The .ppt file loads and displays fine.
OpenOffice.org works as expected and is responsive. Maybe it's been fixed since
1.9m125?
