Opening the file with a OOo2.0.1 or a current internal version shows no problem. After clicking away the warnings about not existing graphic files the doc is loaded. I think the problem might be connected to your self build version. Do you have the chnace to test this on a version downloaded from the offical website? Please check if you are really opening this file on Linux (better also with the distribution/version). For me this file works on all version of OOO on Windows, but fail on two of my Linux computer, crashes at the same stage.
