After the ppt file was generated, I found the resulting ppt file looked different from my original odp file. The background image of that odp file was not correctly preserved in the generated ppt. I didn't touch any settings and just use default settings of OpenOffice.org. Unfortunately, the generated ppt file lost the original background image in odp file.
