I use OOoDEV300m24 on WinXP. Enhancement for graphic export is ongoing. Please have a look at issue 4499. There you will find the link http://lippka.com/EnhancedGraphicExportDialogs.oxt for an extension, which is still in development. But it works already so good, that you can use it for png, gif and jpg export and it will solve your export problem. To reproduce, create a large square page and export to a raster format. On my system e.g., 60cm x 60cm becomes 2268 x 2048 pixels.
