Sorry, still not able to reproduce. The reasons seems to lie within your
system.

Jeff Fuller - 09/04/2008

I was unable to replicate the error described here. My system is dual-boot to
Windows XP Vista 64 Ultimate, with 4gb ram Intel Q6700 proc.

1. I installed OOo 2.4.1 under both OS's to test it.

2. Created a new presentation to test the slideshow operation with(one under
each OS).

3. Tested slideshow with new presentation and existing Powerpoint files(also on
both OS's).

No errors occured in my attempt to reproduce the anomaly, and the right-click
submenu for proceeding through the slideshow worked fine as well.

Am unable to get Impress in 2.4.1 to play slideshows. Can create, but the
slideshow module only displays a blank screen. Apparently the program is
running, because can get the little black and white menu up for changing
background color, exit, etc. But the slideshow does not show on the screen.

I am running the program with the following configuration:
LAPTOP: Compaq Presario B1200
Intel T8300 @ 2.4 GHz
2 GB ram
VISTA HOME PREMIUM
JAVA version 6 update 7

I note also in Writer that Notes will not display.

Have posted on the Community forum, but getting nowhere.
