What should happen is the contents of the window are drawn into the provided HDC, but with OpenOffice nothing gets painted. I am guessing this is a problem with the WM_PAINT handler code in OpenOffice. As far as I understand it, PrintWindow alters the HDC returned from BeginPaint.
