I followed directions, executing rpm -Uvih *.rpm on the rpm files in the RPMS installation directory, and all files appear to have been installed in /opt/openoffice.org1.9.109/ Get same error regardless of whether I attempt to run as root or as ordinary user. My os is Fedora Core 3.
