Updates are now handled by the new triggerpostun script, which basically does the same as triggerin, but should not have the problem of two installed core01 instances. Fixed in CWS sysui11. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. If we only could use the ConcurrentAccess feature .. *sigh* - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. What about requiring ConcurrentAccess and explaining in a README file in the desktop-integration subdir, which advices the user to update the RPM on the system or to install with --no-triggers and optionally update the symlink manually ? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=52807 User cloph changed the following: What|Old value |New value Keywords| |oooqa --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 3 09:59:53 -0700 2005 --- at least for problem 1) it should be enough to not update the menus-package along with the OOo-core/module packages but in a seperate step. That way there is only one core-package installed at the time when the trigger is called. and 2) is cosmetic, isn't it? regarding depending on Concurrent access - I don't know what distros won't support it. The problem is that when the user installs with --nodpes only, rpm may lock-up and has to be killed. There must be very prominent statement that when the dependencies are not met one has to use both --nodeps and --notriggers. Given that people don't read readmes and a lot of people won't update the symlink and run update-desktop-database, I think it may be worth offering a legacy-menus package as a seperate download.. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
