Anyway, I'm using 3.0RC4 with a freshly installed dictionary extension (removed the previous one), and everything works for me. I created a completely NEW 3.0 installation (German Localization) and all spell checking worked fine. @droslovinia: What Localization do you use? Please contribute more information concerning your installation! Did you already try to uninstall / install? Really only WRITER problem? What Language is selected for the characters in your document?
