No action in this issue since 2007. But I believe we got over this. OOo 3.1 is
available in the meantime.
Set to Worksforme.
Please comment based on latest builds, thx.

Can you describe me your X11 preferences ? + X11 version + whatever you
thiink informative

ericb-wdavidstephenson

Same here : I never had issue before.

The problem is we have not too much resources for X11 version ( we concentrate
on alpha Aqua version
to come )

Can you please provide us as much informations as possible ? We first have to
identify if a preference or
something like that can make or not copy paste work.

Thanks

There are two different versions of OpenOffice.org 2.2 for the Mac, one for the
Power PC and one for the Intel. Yes, I have had problems cutting from web pages
and then pasting into a Writer document. My 'trick' is to open TextEdit and
then paste in a blank document. I then select all of the text and copy it into
the Writer document. This does not work for tabled data, however. I can copy
from Firefox directly into Writer, sometimes. And this is on an Intel based
Mac. I have not tried this, yet on my PowerBook.

I cannot confirm here on Intel.
I am able to copy and paste within an ooo Writer document no problem using the
menu items and the keyboard shortcuts using the control key.
Going to and from applications outwith ooo, I just get plain text copy and
paste. Within ooo I get copy and paste with formatting.

Do you have any extensions installed?
