1. Ok, but how can i convert these 'non-numeric' numbers to be able to use them
in formulas etc?
2. why to use such a strange way to enter numbers as text if there is a
perfectly working and obvious one - menu item 'Format'?
3. why Search$Replace tool doesn't see Apostrophe in these cells?
4. why these 'non-numeric' text cells are shown as Number-formatted in Format
Cells dialogue?

You find a very large discussion about using text as numbers in issue 5658.

to 1 and 3: For converting text back to number use the way fst describes in
issue 24374.
Another way is via extension
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/CT2N

to 4: Because they are formatted numeric, but the actual content is text. This
fact uses fst in his findreplace solution.

to 2: 'Why'-questions are difficult to be answered. You are asking about a
twenty years old design decision. That is nothing for issue tracker, but for a
mailing list.

That is the intended behavior, see chapter Formatting Numbers as Text and the
related topics in the help.

There are three ways to see a subject:
1. Once typed symbol ' and any number behind it into some clear cell, it
mystically disappears after it entered. But in input line it stays visible.
Steps to reproduce:
1) type '123 (without double quotes) and hit enter
2) visually compare content of entered cell in an input line and in a
cell itself.

2. When you try to change format of a cell containing number with leading '
to text, this symbol disappears from input line too. And visually such a
converted cell looks absolutely normal. But if only you change format of a cell
back to 'number' or 'date' the symbol ' returns in a mysterious way.
Steps to reproduce:
1) type '123 (without double quotes) and hit enter
2) visually compare content of entered cell in an input line and in a
cell itself.
3) convert format of that cell to text
4) visually compare content of entered cell in an input line and in a
cell itself.
5) convert format of that cell back to number (or date)
6) visually compare content of entered cell in an input line and in a
cell itself.

3. If it typed two ' symbols one by one and some number after, first of them
disappears forever from everywhere. And then cell becomes normal.
Steps to reproduce:
1) double press ' key with some number after and hit enter
2) see what in fact appears on the screen

In addition, this symbol cannot be found by Find Replace tool when it 'semi-
visible'. All these presentations i checked out in OOo Calc v2.4.1 - all of
them are the same.

/Sorry for my bad English/
