With Spreadsheet open, click 'File', 'New', 'Spreadsheet'. - Once open type a new URL into cell A1 (or any other cell). - Ensure URL recognition is ON and URL is highlighted (i.e. recognised). - Select cell A1, right click on cell A1. Click 'Format Cells' on submenu that opens. - Click on the 'Alignment' tab - Ensure check box by 'Wrap text automatically' is checked - Click 'Okay' - Move column A so width is less than the length of the URL (i.e. you cannot see all of the URL 'text'). Word wrap does not apply to URL (with URL recognition on). Competing products (Excel, Pages) do provide this functionality. This may not be a 'defect' (please advise) and possibily a future enhancement. If you insert the long URL text into a cell ( (with wrapping and URL recognition on), the text will be wrapped, but when you press enter to accept the input, URL will be recognized an wrap will be undone. I can't see any advantage not to wrap a recognized URL, and lont UFLs will be wrapped in text tables.
