Finally, I have found out, that this only occur, if I open the printing/site
preview before I copy/cut and paste some content.

The steps to reproduce now are:

1. Open an existing spreadsheet (I have one with about 200 rows)
2. Select page/printing preview and close it to mark the printing edges in the
sheet
3. Select some rows (I used 30)
4. Cut and paste or copy and paste the rows to another table in the same
document
5. Exit Calc without saving

System Information:

Windows 7 (with latest updates in 02/2010)
Java Runtime Environment 1.6u17 and 1.6u18 tested

After copy/cut and paste some text from one table to another (about 30 rows) I
decided to exit the application without saving. Then reopening the file does not
work, because the Calc window did not appear.

I examined the process and task manager and saw, that soffice.bin and
soffice.exe still runs (each process with two instances). Then I found out that
the first instance did not exit clean, because of the copy/cut and paste action.

This bug is reproducable all of the time.

It seems to me, that it has something to do with the clip board. Other changes
on the same document (deletion of the same selection) does not have the expected
effect - ooo exits clean and no process instance appears in the task manager.

I can not give away the document, it has some non-disclosurable contents.
