Dates from 1900-01-01 to 1900-02-28 in Excel are different in Calc, caused by
different handling of 1900-02-29. See issues 50460 and 26125.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 26125 ***

Found issue:
When opening a .xls file the date fields are not working as it should be.
The original .xls file has in field F7 1/1 as a date (and in G7 =+E7+1 so that
it shows '2/1').
In the opened file in Open Office it appears as: 31-12-1899 (and in G7 1-1).
I opened the file in Linux Ubuntu 10.10 AND in Windows Vista, same problem.
When I open the file in Gnumeric (Ubuntu) the field F7 is correct ('1/1' and
'2/1'). I can provide screen-shots if necessary.
